Obama's plans for the Military

Obama announced this week that he was going to slash our military spending, and have a leaner operation in the end. He cited two things that would not happen on his watch, Vietnam, and WWII.  How this guy saw similarities between the two is beyond me, but he risks going down the road we were on before WWII with his new plan.  You see back before WWII we had adopted a policy of isolationism, which nearly came back to bite us when the Japanese took out most of our Navy at Pearl Harbor.  You would think the lesson then would have been to be prepared.  Now just because we have left Iraq, that does not mean we are any safer.  Iran is about to get the bomb, who knows what North Korea will, or won't do....and frankly the rest of the world hates our guts anyway.

This was one of his campaign promises, so it didn't come as any shock to me.  It's truly amazing that out of all the wasted money he blows all the time, the only thing he can think to cut is our military.  The so called President is truly pathetic.

Libya and Obama

Well he finally got everyone to tell him it was ok if he launched an attack, and boy did he ever.  Obama threw about 110 Cruise missiles at Libya over the weekend, which in my opinion is something that was long over due anyway.  Why President Bush didn't drop a few on this guy back in the day is beyond me, but here we are again with a liberal being a hypocrite.  People look at the Iraq war, and the only thing they can focus on is that 2 of the reasons 1. that he (Saddam) had something to do with Bin Ladin, and 2. That he had weapons of mass destruction.  Well they couldn't prove either of those things, but the one key thing has always been left out is that we were going there to depose a tyrant who was known for raping, and murdering his own people.  President Bush made very clear his intentions on that issue before the war began when he told the Iraqi people on television that their "tormentor would soon be gone". Much like what is going on in Libya today, but the left decided to ignore the Iraqi people's right to live free and focus on the "Bush Bashing" that was their favorite pass time back then . Now we have Obama, and he has made a decision that is very similar, except he didn't go through near the public "case for war" that President Bush did.  He decided that he would get the OK from the United Nations, and then invest our money in it.  Again I have no problem with this military campaign at all, good for Obama for finally doing something.  Though, due to his constant complaining about the Iraq war and his past criticism for him to use the idea that he is saving the Libyan people as the reason for the strikes makes him a hypocrite.  It makes those who support him a hypocrite, because you too probably don't think we should have gone to Iraq.  If you think Iraq was a mistake, and that we shouldn't have gone in you must also view this with the same idea in mind.  The only liberal so far I've seen who isn't a hypocrite yet is that nut case Michael Moore.  Check out this link to see what he is saying about it. http://thehill.com/blogs/twitter-room/other-news/150857-michael-moore-rips-obama-over-libya-

It's all really pathetic if you ask me, but again I'm glad that we are defending people who are under the boot of the Libyan Dictator.

Obama Fails Nationally and Internationally

In less than a year we have seen man made, and natural disasters on the national and international stage that have caused everything from death to massive property damage from here to Japan.  We've even seen the threat, and some say continue to see the threat of nuclear melt downs as far away as Japan.   We've seen uprisings in countries both friendly and unfriendly to us ranging from protests in Iran a couple of years ago, to the Egyptian uprising and now what has amounted to a small civil war in Libya.   If ever the "free world" needed its leader it has been in the last year, however he seems to have his mind on other things.

The first example we saw of Obama's incompotence to protect us was less than a year ago during the BP Oil spill.  You see around April 1st of 2010 Obama made a speech outlining the safety of oil drilling and need to produce more.  This was seen as welcome change, and perhaps a good way forward for the United States.  It would also have seemed to be a compromise with those who not only want us to start using alternatives to oil, but to drill and keep an ample supply of it in interim.  Then we had the oil spill, and what did Obama do you may ask?  Well for 6 weeks he did nothing.  He did not address this problem until it had already been going on for 6 weeks.  He then used the opportunity to shut down all oil rigs in the gulf, and then months after the spill was plugged and the oil gone he reopened only portions of what was once open for drilling.  He also reduced the amount of oil drilling that could be done on the east and west coast.  In other words, he did nothing in this instance except serve his own interests.

Then just recently we saw an uprising in Egypt where their leader was thrown out.  Obama watched, and waited.....He offered no support either way during this until it was all over.  Then he congratulated the victors.  It's like he was watching a race and wanted to make sure he was in the victory lane of the one who won, regardless of who the other driver was.

We see a similar situation in Libya where an uprising has turned into a small civil war.  Except to warn the leader of that country not to shoot his own people, Obama has offered no support one way of another about that situation either.

Now Japan has bee struck by a tsunami/earth quake/possible nuclear melt down of 3 facilities.  He sent a battle group over there sure, but then in that same week he decided to make the topic of his weekly radio address "women's inequality".  Then he played a game of golf.

Now if President Bush had conducted himself like this there would have been a media blast so large the entire world would hear of it. We were also treated to Obama's basketball bracket picks.  So right now his priorities are "women's rights in America", "golf", and "basketball".

All I can say to you liberals is, I don't want to a hear another world about Katrina after the way you people have excused, and even praised Obama for his actions, or lack there of.

Stop Taking Offense

This whole world has gone "offense" crazy.  We've heard it for years now "so and so offended so and so".  Then we have the obligatory apology (which is meaningless).  It's become so bad that people are even offended by people who they shouldn't really be offended by.  You take the Charlie Sheen situation for example.  Just recently he made some comments about Warlocks.  Then I read an article that says that the "Warlock" community is offended by Charlie Sheen's remarks.  Never mind the fact that the remarks came from a guy who has gone coo coo bananas!  We see it every day, from every group you could think of.  I've come to the conclusion that they aren't really offended at all.  What they really do is look for an opportunity to become offended so that they can get in the news.

Liberals take all this kind of stuff very seriously though, as do most politicians, but there has to be a breaking point.  We can take a look at how Obama handles foreign policy and see what happens when you try not to offend anyone.  Obama basically ends up saying nothing at all, which is why you have incidents like the issue with France taking the lead when it comes to these uprisings and it's obvious why.  Obama is too scared to offend one of these guys like the Egyptian President and The Libyan leader.  He plays both sides of the fence, hoping that when it's all over he can be buddy buddy with whoever wins.  It's a dangerous game though, because when you have a guy who is killing his people, like the situation in Libya, you have to say something.  Obama wants to bow down to the international community, wait for the United Nations to takes the lead, well it will be an awful long time before that inept body take the lead like he wants.

So if you are running around town, being offended all the time, think about it.  "Is this person's opinion really worth me getting all bent out of shape"?  Don't be a liberal jerk about it and just take it for what it is.

Obama's open government

It's almost a joke now.  The man still maintains he has one of the most, if not the most open administration in history.  Just because you have a popular twitter feed does not mean you are open.  If he is so open why does he filter everything that comes out of that office.  Did you know that he has a personal staff of video editors who produce interviews of him, and other propaganda for the White House.  It's all up on his youtube.  No I'm not going to give you the youtube link, you can find that on your own.  Then news came down today concerning a request by House Republicans for some records of meeting Obama held with lobbyists, and people from insurance companies during the Health Care debate.  He has denied that request, and I have to wonder why?  If he is so open it shouldn't matter now should it?  He promised us a good debate on this issue, and he's gone back on that.  Instead he had ole' Nancy ram it down our throats while carrying a huge gavel.  You all know about that, but I have to wonder why is it that he can do these things, and remain unchallenged by those he lied to in order to get votes.  He promised you an open government, and now we see he has no intention of delivering.  He'll share what he wants to share after it goes through the White House press office, and what ever else he has in place to spin his propaganda.  He also said he wouldn't have any lobbyists working for him, so he got around that by having them quit before he hired them.  Now we find out he had closed door meetings with lobbyists and he won't tell you what was said during those meetings.  So again I ask "what happened to the open government".  Not that any of this shocks me, you should all know by now I didn't believe him to start with, but there are those of you who did.  Face it, the "Emperor has no Clothes"!

France Speaks Out First Against Libyan Ruler

'It Would be so Much Easier to be the President of China' – B. H. Obama

Well he promised hope and change and Obama has delivered.  France now seems to lead the free world when it comes to matters of democracy.  We saw where France spoke out against the Egyptian dictator a few weeks ago, while Obama and Joe Biden were still making claims that a man who sat in power for 30 years wasn't a dictator.  France now took the lead on Libya, becoming the first country to come out in support of the insurgents there, who like in Egypt, are fighting for their freedom.  Since then Obama and his cronies have sheepishly come out and told Colonel Gaddafi that he needs to leave.  His secretary of state Hillary Rotten Clinton has said that if there is military action the United States cannot lead anything like that because in her mind it would feed into the liberals out there who think we go around stealing oil from other countries.  Did you know we don't have one oil lease in Iraq today?  Here is what Hillary had to say about all this.
"'If you follow, as we follow, all of the websites that are looking at what's happening in the Middle East, you see a constant drumbeat that "the United States is going to invade Libya to take over the oil -- and we can't let that happen,"'
Why must we be so scared to take a stand anymore?  What happened to the United States being on the front line when it comes to matters of freedom and democracy?  Could it be that our President really doesn't hold American values that dear to him?

So Obama has reversed course on GITMO.....FAILURE!!!!!!

Either it was a strong dose of reality that changed Dear Leader Grand Ayatollah Barack Hussein Obama's mind, or it was the realization that there is no where to put these "people" and on this blog I will refer to the prisoners down there as animals from now on.  What really bothers me about this is the hypocrisy.  I'm glad it's staying open for military tribunals, we need it to cage these monsters up forever if need be.  What we have seen are incidents where they pull these cock roaches out, and put them on trial in civilian court, only to walk free in the end.  Now these guys weren't picked up selling rocks at the corner store or anything like that, these were caught, because they were fighting with our deadliest enemy.  They want to kill us in the name of a demonic religion.  Now it's people like Obama who promoted the idea that some how these animals were mistreated down there, and we need to have the trials in civilian court.  On the contrary they were actually treated very well in my estimation.  Sure there were stories about some advanced interrogation techniques, but if one of those techniques unravels some plants for another 9/11, then bring on the water boarding.  They are fed well, have access to medical care, are given religious doctrine so they can continue on their Jihads, and they even get to watch TV.  They are also in one of most ideal climates in the world, my goodness it's a tropical paradise down there.  Yet Obama and his lap dogs in the media would have you think we have them sitting in muddy ditches all day begging for a crust of bread, and that they deserve AMERICAN CIVIL RIGHTS.   American rights were paid for with Americans and by Americans and these animals would take them from you.  They would force you into their Satanic cultist religion, and enslave American women.  Funny how a man with the name of Hussein would come out and try to help people like that out isn't it?

Let me take you back just about two years ago when Obama took office.  After the wild party in the state capital where people stood in the cold for hours just to satisfy Obama's ego he then went inside the Oval Office, took off his coat, turned up the heat...I guess to start saving on the electric bill, and then he signed an executive order.  It was one of his firsts if not the first thing he signed, and in it he demanded that GITMO be closed within 365 days. He also halted the military tribunals, and that proves right there what an amateurishness fraud he was.  Talk about inexperience, you would have thought he would have run that idea by a couple of people, other than that idiot O'Biden, before making his demand.  Well he failed to do that within his time line.  He failed, and we are better for it!  He is failing at other things, and we are not better for it.  He has failed us on national defense, the economy, our strength around the globe, and our sense of national pride.  The man has proven yet again that he is unfit to lead office.  So now all you liberals can go back to your MP3 players, or keep listening to your NPR radio and be happy, because you got what you wanted.
